Best Reborn Spring/Summer 2010
We are going to host another Reborn Contest for Doll Collectors Worldwide, “Best Reborn Spring/Summer 2010”.
The rules of the contest are as follows:
1. The reborn doll you enter MUST be your own work, including the rooting, no baldies.
2. The reborn doll you enter can NOT be your past work, it must be either a doll you just started on or are getting ready to start.
3. You can only submit 3 photos, one headshot of the face, one close up of the hair and one of the whole baby showing as much skin as possible (face and body).
4. Although posing, and/or presentation often improves the look of a baby, it will NOT be the main focus of judging the best reborn, only the painting and rooting will be be judged. Sorry, no "painted only" hair.
5. The doll you enter must be a reborn baby between 12-24 inches in length, no minis, no toddlers.
6. One entry per person.
The contest will begin on April 4th and run through June 4th so you will have plenty of time to prepare and complete your baby. Once your baby is completely finished, photograph it and submit it to me via email, dcwforum@gmail.com. The deadline for all entries is 10:00 PM Eastern Time on June 4th, 2010. If you would like to post pictures of your entry in this forum or any other, that is fine for this particular contest but you still must still send the 3 requested shots to me via email.
The judges for this contest are Lorna Ours, Brittany DeLara, myself (~Audrey~) and my husband, Terry. I will post the winning entry on June 11th by 5:00 PM Eastern Time. There is an award for the winner that will be mailed out the following business day (unless it is a personalized item). Once the winner is announced they must contact me via email or pm with their mailing address so I can ship the award out on time.
Anyone that is a current member of DCW is welcome to enter the contest, current meaning “a member as of the minute I post this announcement”, no exceptions. Please tell your reborning friends and associates about the contest and that they are welcome to join our forum so they can enter their work in the next contest or simply to enjoy the sense of fellowship that we all find here.

I thought the pictures were due yet?
Well, I hope you do have another contest because I am getting the hang of entering contests. I enjoy seeing what others interpret for the directions or creativity.
